I played in one of Bruno's one-shots, and it was a blast! He has a cool approach to one-shots where you pilot a (mostly) premade character with an established backstory tying you to the adventure. It made roleplaying in the one-shot way more natural. Also, there was a dungeon, there was a dragon, what's not to love?

Paul has been great! This was my first experience using StartPlaying, so I was naturally a bit apprehensive, but almost immediately I could tell I made the right call. Paul does a great job of setting the mood (we're playing Strahd), and the experience really feels unique and customized to our characters. He was able to weave my (very minimally thought out) character's backstory into my first session, which was super cool. Strongly recommended!
