About the adventure
The stories about a cure-all drug sound impossible. A cure for cancer? Pancreatitis? Tumors? Unfortunately, the news says the drugs are a great success and are moving to human trials. The worst part: Someone you know is taking this drug and you have to stop this. There is no cure for everything. You see past the corporate lies and feel something sinister in the promise of a Panacea. Can you and other investigators, work together to stop this medicine before it releases to the public? Or will the people you love be cured of their sickness in this Call of Cthulhu Campaign? Call Of Cthulhu's Gameplay is Defined By: 1. Investigative Horror 😱. Call of Cthulhu (CoC) gameplay revolves around uncovering mysteries and fighting against the terrors of the night. You play as ordinary people who are challenged by horrific and extraordinary odds both mystical and terrifying. 2. Skill Based 🌌. Whereas in DnD, you choose classes, Call of Cthulhu is a skill based game. You have several skills your Investigator is good and bad due to their age, occupation, and training. Use your skills to uncover the secrets of the Mythos. 3. Deadly Combat🧟♂️. Call of Cthulhu is an investigation game but combat is inevitable when battling either the mundane or alien like mythos. That means this is a heavy roleplay game where players need to work together to uncover secrets and fend against fiend.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Howdy! I'm Blerdy Disposition, a Queer Black Game Master and Youtuber. As a game master, I focus on horror games, old school DnD, and narrative games. Specifically my game sessions focus on heavy roleplay, rule of cool, and player creativity! If you are interested in playing in a game focused on roleplay and player creativity then reach out or sign up for a game. I am also happy to work with players interested in a custom game suited for their schedule When I am not running or playing TTRPGs, I have a Youtube Channel focused on learning more about indie TTRPGs and my tips for players and game masters running games.

How Blerdy creates a safe table
Before The Game: Session 0 📝 Code of Conduct at my Table I believe as a Queer Black GM, safety at my table is and will always be a number 1 priority. RPGs should allow us to safely explore topics we want and have fun with it. So that means this table and my groups are anti-racist, anti-queerphobic, and tolerating bigotry is entirely unacceptable. So any kind of behavior like that will result in immediate ejection from my game. Lines, Veils, and Boundaries 🪞 I use a set of primer topics to discuss what we do not want to see in the game. A sample of that is attached below https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TVfQ1_UyP7EyTUi6zK3FFvfFvucZRjaDHHFAoBmvhxM/edit During my Game: Breaks🧱 I always make sure to include a 10+ minute break in my game. Of course breaks can be longer or shorter depending on what is best for the group at the time. After the Game: Stars and Wishes ✨ Post game and especially at the end of the campaign, I ask what are people’s stars and wishes. Stars are used for things people really liked during the game. Wishes are things participants would like to see in the future.
