About the adventure

Session 0 FREE. This campaign is specifically designed to allow a safe space for those interested in learning Dungeons & Dragons (levels 1-3), but would be more comfortable in a group that is NOT overran by cisgendered males. Yes, the DM is a cisgendered male, but this game is only open to Marginalized Genders as players, and safe space/personal boundaries will be strictly enforced as player comfort over all else. Female-identifying, queer, trans, or "they/them"-identifying only. The campaign: A gender-reversed version of 5e's Sunless Citadel from Tales from the Yawning Portal. A group of brave men followed a mysterious figure into undergound ruins, and now they (and not a princess) need saving. The town rallies a group to go into the ruins. Solve problems with smart solutions, creative roleplay, or violence as you meet the underground inhabitants and search for the lost adventurers. Campaign will go from levels 1 - 3, with combat/roleplay focus changing based on player preference, typically 7 - 10 sessions long. Safe space policies covered in Session 0 (free).

About me

I've had a vivid imagination since I can remember, thinking of entire books and films in my head. When I found DND and TTRPGs, there was a place to put that imagination to share with others. Like playing with legos and paints, I can map out whole worlds. . I've never really gotten tired of. Like playing with LEGOs or paints, I can map out entire worlds: I just can't get enough of this creativity! One of my favorite parts of this hobby is sharing imagination with friends. That's why I love DM'ing so much - surprises, clever players, character development, and new challenges to face together. LGBTQ+ ally, neurodivergent, and all around fun guy. Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation guidelines will be presented over Discord, and reviewed in Session 0. - Starting Level 1, going thru Level 3 by end of campaign. - Basic races are allows. Other races will be allowed with DM permission. - Characters should be of "good alignment" as this is a beginner friendly campaign. - DM can help players during Session 0 for learning the gameplay.

The current party

LGBTQ+ Friendly. This campaign is only open to marginalized genders (no cis-gendered males, other than the DM), with focus on beginners learning the game. Every other Sunday. Some men were lost and now need rescuing. Follow the footsteps of the mysterious druid to the sunken ruins, and explore in this classic dungeon campaign. Uncover mysteries, save the men, make friends (or enemies), and be heroes.

Safety

How Robert Gnome creates a safe table

Safe Space and player comfort is above all else. Where other games might have a warning, a player may be banned immediately if it appears as though you intentionally violated the requested boundaries of other players. Respect for preferred pronouns of players and characters is a must. Consent forms will be provided via Google Docs link, and discussed over Discord (in private) or during the session over Zoom. Anything "off-limits" will be listed in Discord for reference. The DM has an Open Door policy over Discord, and expectations and help will be provided there. Gameplay will be over Zoom (free version needed) and over TaleSpire (free version/seats version, no money required). Character creation will be in DNDBeyond (again, free, DM provides resource access). DM can help with creation if needed. As this is beginner-friendly, there will be restrictions on races/alignments.
