About the adventure
Something is preying on the roads around the village of Dulwich. Out on the Lonely Coast, villages like Dulwich rely heavily on trade with the surrounding villages for their livelihood. With no major cities in sight, Towns and Villages on The Lonely Coast can't rely on timely intervention from The Crown's Forces and are expected to fend for themselves. And while the town is decently stocked up for the arrival of the Frost Shepherds, it won't be enough to make it through the frozen season to the next thaw unless trade is established again. Rumors abound flow around Dulwich about the Shadowed Keep, a crumbling fortress deep in the pines of the Forest of Grey Spires. A group of bandits are launching raids on the passing caravans. The Goblins of the Blood Moon have returned to stock their larders with hapless travelers. The ghosts of the keep's former occupants have returned to turn the living into a shambling army of the undead. With a host of other problems plaguing Dulwich's populace; an oppressive baron and his inflexible captain of the guard, skeletons arising out of the graveyard, and a rising thieves' guild robbing the in-town merchants of their goods. It doesn't look like the town will make it through the cold in one piece. You've heard whispered rumors from the surrounding villages of the dangers of the journey to Dulwich and the strife of its people. Whatever your reasons, whatever your story, whatever your methods, you've decided to step out onto the roads and make your way to Dulwich with a group of like-minded travelers. Take up the sword. Take up the spear. Take up bow or tome or shield. Brave the wilds. Brave the dangers. The tale of your deeds on the Lonely Coast has yet to be written... During this adventure, your party might... 🗡 Establish themselves in the town of Dulwich and explore the lonely coast 🗡 Uncover various nefarious plots that could affect the future of Dulwich and The Lonely Coast 🗡 Unearth forgotten magic items and long-lost ruins 🗡 Battle a tribe of goblins, the undead, a dragon, or other dangerous monsters and villains 🗡 Travel to other planes of existence 🗡 Establish their home base and fortress in the wilderness

About me
Hello weary traveler! So, looking for a new Dungeon Master, eh? Well then allow me to introduce… myself. I started playing Dungeons and Dragons when I was thirteen, as the human prince fighter. Give me a break, I was thirteen and we didn't have the right books to actually run a successful campaign. A year later, when we’d finally managed to piece together what we had done wrong, I had already discovered that I was more interested in building worlds, raising villains, to crafting collaborative stories upon strong connections to a fantastic world and the inhabitants along with my players, and I also rather enjoyed doing the silly voices. And so I took to becoming my group of friends’ forever DM. Over the past nineteen years, I’ve continued to play the most widely known system, continuing to this day to spend all my hard-earned wages on 5E supplements, dice, miniatures, and paint. I have also branched out into other systems like Monster of the Week, Uncharted Worlds, Demigods, Kids on Bikes, Wanderhome, Monsterhearts, The Sprawl, and, honestly, we could sit here for hours and I’d probably remember playing a system you’d vaguely heard of and have a fun story about it. Yet, somehow, I always end up running a Dungeons and Dragons game. And that's fine by me. Over the last seven years, I've transitioned to mostly online games over Roll20, where I've completed six campaigns and countless one-shots.

Creating your character

How Scott creates a safe table
Players will receive a copy of the Monte Cook RPG consent list to fill out when they join the discord server. Session 0 will be used to discuss the code of conduct and to talk about a blanket consent checklist for the group, as well as introduce ourselves and work on characters together. At the end of each game session, we will hold an aftercare talk about the session and how everyone feels about it. After each chapter, each player will be sent a feedback survey to check on the enjoyment level and ask what each player wants to see going forward.
