About the adventure
You’ve joined an adventuring party formed to explore Axeholm, an abandoned dwarven fortress carved into a mountainside. Your party was assembled by an old dwarf named Amden after his gods appeared to him in a dream and told him to find Gobchopper, the magic ax wielded by Axeholm’s last king. Historians say Axeholme was abandoned after an elven ambassador killed by its defenders rose as a banshee they could not defeat. That was two centuries ago, and Amden doesn’t think the banshee could persist for so long, but he wants to bring a cleric “just in case.” You will explore Axeholm over the course of four sessions, each three hours. Expect lots of fighting and exploration, and a generous amount of magical treasure for you to plunder and use. Axeholm is a dangerous place, however, and death comes easy to those who make foolish decisions. As for undead? No promises, but remember what Amden said about bringing a cleric.

About me
Hosted podcasts, won a D&D tournament, and GM'd hundreds of sessions using dozens of different systems. But so what? Yes, I create interesting adventures, talk in funny voices, and orchestrate cinematic fight scenes, but you breathe life into it by joining my games. The best story centers on your character, not my NPCs, the monsters you're killing, nor some plot object you're trying to find. Creating fun, believable universes is my passion, yet it's all just a backdrop for your adventures!

What John the Norker brings to the table
We use Owlbear Rodeo, a VTT (virtual table top) that requires no sign up or preparation on your end. We stick to RAW, generally, but we're not beholden to it. Expect funny voices, humor, and camaraderie.
