About the adventure
"Never Tell Me The Odds" is a printed one-shot murder mystery adventure perfect for all skill levels. While attending a gaming festival, the highlight of which is a gladiator tournament, the party finds themselves pulled into a murder mystery! Can you and your party work together to solve this mysterious death? This one-shot adventure is perfect to get your feet wet! Great for roleplaying and working together to solve the case! Creating your character
Players will create a character leveled based on a set level set by me. We will discuss this information in my discord server prior to the game. You will play on Shard tabletop - but characters can be made on D&D Beyond then imported in,
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Webcams are not necessary but a working microphone with a discord account is needed. Players will make an account on shard tabletop to import their characters and join the campaign. When the game is played, my discord server will be used to host the fun!
What Jason (KNOTZ) brings to the table
Ambient music, character art, and rule of cool are all welcome at my table! I try to find ways to make the games unique and engaging for all. We will follow D&D 5e rules, but always open to a potential change of pace depending on the situation.
Homebrew rules
Health Potions: You may use a bonus action to consume a healing potion- in which the usual dice roll will determine how much is regained. You may use an action to consume a healing potion- in which the highest amount of regained health points will be gained instead. It takes a full action to administer a health potion to another player, in which the usual dice roll will determine how much that players health is regained. How Jason (KNOTZ) creates a safe table
Throughout the game, you can utilize X, N, & O cards by reaching out to the DM directly through Discord messaging. We'll have a brief 10-minute break around midway, but feel free to step away whenever you need to attend to yourself (we operate on an Open Door Policy). Additionally, players are encouraged to contact the DM via direct messaging if they have any game-related worries.
