When I'm not running games I'm...
traveling as a DJ playing various themed nights! I'm also a big gamer myself so I love to play a good Final Fantasy. Love to visit the local card shop and play some Lorcana/MTG with people as well. My partner and I also love to watch some tv cuddled up doing nothing!
How Jason (KNOTZ) runs games
I love creating a fun and collaborative adventure with others! Really getting into character roleplay to build deeper in-game relationships are always a fun time. I do love some fun and engaging combat. Always open to working with my players to make the best of our adventures. While I typically run drop-in style campaigns, I do run special made tailored session for you and your friends! Message me about custom sessions! Most every one of my sessions will have at least one combat typically. I am very silly, and very much a "Yes, and-" type of DM. I love to have a diverse group of people all contributing in their own ways. Mostly just love seeing players really fall in love with their own characters and getting into the roleplay!

I think metagaming...
is going to happen, and something I'll address as needed. For example, a player may know that an Ice Mephit explodes when it dies. But does your character? Roll a History/Nature/Arcana and lets see. There's layers to it. And I'm open to rolling for some stuff, but there's a line.
I think min/maxing...
is all part of it. You do you! If thats how you want to build your character- sure. Just remember that you can optimize your characters build, but remember that you are just one member of a party. And everyone is a team.
My perfect party mix is
one that understands we're all here to tell a story. Regardless of if the party composition is traditional or whatever- I just want the players to enjoy the story we are telling as a group. Allowing everyone to have their moment. You'll get yours at some point, but allows all players time to shine
