About the adventure
The age of Titans is over. Mighty monuments, indecipherable magics and vaults filled with mysterious technology are their legacy upon the world that they used to rule. Emerging to this world built for giants and spirits, the mortal folk write a new and young history in empty halls far too large for them - encountering spirits new and old as they seek to make a place for themselves in a world that has already ended once. Many across the land have scrambled to find the wonders left behind by the titans and claim their miracles for their own. Self-proclaimed kings rule in the skeletons of grand cities, villages gather around mysterious artefacts with inexplicable powers, and daring adventurers venture forth on the whispers of secret treasures. It is a world turned upside down, a world where the daring seek to fill a void once filled by titans. It is the world, of Titan’s Rift. Meet the Game Master
About me
I'm a professional Game Master and when I'm lucky - occassional player - of TTRPGs specialising in Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition and Pathfinder 2E. I am passionate about creating an atmosphere of immersion for my games through theatrics, acting, sound effects, music, maps and illustrations for our games. I find it makes everyone more comfortable to play to their fullest :) I have run most of my games through FoundryVTT and know how to customise an adventure module to make it a memorable experience for any player. It is important for me to facilitate a respectful and warm space for everyone to play the characters they want and tell the stories they want. I hope we can build a memorable world together, slay together and stay together!

Creating your character
Characters will begin at Level 1 using the Point Buy system and 2024 rules. All official and homebrew materials are welcome to be requested as long as homebrew or expanded content is flagged with me beforehand so we can fit it in/balance if needed :) I love putting a lot of care and attention into Character Creation before Session 1 with; ■ 1:1 chat to help you go through initial character ideas and explore what kind of game you're most interested in playing ■ Group Session 0 once we have at least 3 players to build a united idea of the narrative and game we'll be pursuing as well as any inter-party history that players might want ■ Full access to my DND Beyond subscription to help you plan your character before Session 0. Once characters are completed, I'll help you import them into FoundryVTT for play.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🗺️ Bring your mic, laptop/desktop and a way to take notes, it's time to experience the world of Titan's Rift. Outside of that, all you need is a character idea and desire for that character to be part of a great adventure. Software-wise, we use Discord for voice chat and FoundryVTT (you will simply need a stable internet connection to run it through your browser) to play :)
What Robin brings to the table
🔮 Full FoundryVTT integration of ambient music, sound effects, token artwork and gameplay. 🎲 DND Beyond full subscription that allows for you to plan your character and reference the expanded materials in character creation. 💎 Customised character tokens, journals and virtual props to make you really feel like a history-making hero. 🔥 A mechanically knowledgeable GM who loves the rule-of-cool and isn't afraid to make on-the-fly adjudications for player ideas. 🧝🏼♂️ Fully voiced and fleshed out NPCs for you to interact with, including many expanded ones not in the original module. 🔨 Responsive and active discord for managing things like downtime, NPC relations and shopping!
Homebrew rules
Titan's Rift (and most of my games) run on a few homebrew rules that are designed to add more decision making and take advantage of Foundry's awesome resource automation systems; Rests only recover half of the resources that they normally recover and do not naturally heal HP. Hit Dice must be used instead for healing + recovering additional class resources. Hit Dice can be used to recover class resources such as spell slots, focus points etc based on a formula unique to the resource. Generally, long rest resources cost 1:1 and short rest resources can be recovered 2:1. Many factors such as eating good food, resting in a safe location, enjoying a morale boosting story around the campfire can boost Hit Dice recovery. Characters gain a level of Exhaustion (2024 rules, cumulative -1 penalty) whenever they reach 0 hitpoints in combat. With these three rules, the hope is that combat is reserved as a last resort because resources as not as easily recovered and a ardous dungeon delve, dangerous journey or singular deadly combat will take the party days to recover from instead of a single night's sleep. -- Potions can be used as a Action or Bonus Action. An Action will always heal the maximum possible hitpoints from the potion. Flanking can be done only when the flanked creature has been threatened already (with an attack etc) by the creature you are flanking with and you must be able to draw a line between you and your fellow flanker through the flanked target. Ranged flanking is possible using the same logic. Martial Characters can choose between two Weapon Masteries to activate while fighting (representing making different styles of attacks) but Weapon Mastery effects only trigger when you beat a creature's AC by 5 or more. Advantage and Disadvantage stack but every case of additional Adv/Dis will just be a cumulative +2/-2 to the roll instead of an additional roll.
