About the adventure
Step into a late‑stage Strixhaven adventure where the party has just wrapped up their third year and is finally venturing beyond the safety of campus. The lessons are behind them, the training wheels are off, and now, is the time to put the knowledge to the test in the real world. On the lead up to the 4th and final year, this time before returning to Strixhaven, shapes the world for when you finally graduate. The decisions your character makes now will genuinely matter and will lead to great... or terrible... things. This campaign blends mystery, danger, and magical discovery. You’ll explore atmospheric dungeons, encounter formidable dragons, uncover arcane secrets, face off against the darkest of foes and dig into the rich lore of the world that surrounds you. If you want a game that balances story, exploration, and magical problem‑solving, this is the perfect moment to join this campaign. But, how does your character fit in? You’ll be joining right before everything explodes in the exciting final act of the Strixhaven module — the moment where all the foreshadowing, all the character arcs and all the prophecies finally collide. Your character will join the party as the plot is revealed for the world after Strixhaven, before completing the final year in school which opens the doors, to a whole new world which has yet to be discovered. If you’ve played Strixhaven before but never reached the end, this is your chance to experience the climax with a group that has stuck together, session after session, building something truly special. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or a brand‑new player bold enough to leap into the deep end with a mid‑level character, you’ll find a welcoming table, a supportive group, and a story that’s ready for your spark of chaos. If you want creativity, structure, danger, drama, and magical mayhem — this is the campaign for you. Join us now and help shape the final chapter of Strixhaven’s destiny.

About me
Do you like Dungeons and Dragons 5e? Do you like playing in a unique setting with surprises around almost every turn? (Gotta keep you on your toes somehow!) Do you want Adventure, Mystery and Excitement? Then consider signing up for a campaign with me, Andy, I will run different games as advertised, a unique adventure based in my homebrewed world of "Astaria", with a story developed with your characters in mind for a fully immersive experience that you can really be a part of of. Or, if modular is more your style, I will also set up modular games starting with Strixhaven: Curriculum of Chaos! I have experience with running this module and it was a whole lot of fun which I would love to share with a new party of magic wielding students! A bit about me! Hi! My names Andy, I'm a 31 year old who has been playing D&D 5e for the last 9 years and a Dungeon Master for the last 6. My longest running Campaign spanning 3 years which had my players coming back each and every session. I have ran a range of games ranging from horror, romance, thriller, festive and many more. I look for ways to bring laughter and fun to each game whilst also allowing that creativity to flow in a safe space. During the session 0, any boundaries will be addressed as well as procedures of what to do if boundaries are pushed. I welcome all manner of players to my games and promote for inclusivity. If you want to listen to me DM, a festive oneshot, follow the link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4vn2ei1I9I&t=3694s

Creating your character
For character creation for this game, I would advise reading up on the Strixhaven specific backgrounds which alludes to which school of magic you want your character the belong too as you work your way through the academic years. Outside of this character creation is only limited to official published material.
At Strixhaven, the published module is open to all students and character creations (Within the limits of D&D!) - We have a mixed selection of players and this campaign allows you to express your creative freedom with character creation.

Safety
How Andy G creates a safe table
When it comes to safety, knowing how my players feel is paramount to ensuring that the game is being enjoyed by all and that each player is comfortable. During the session 0, each player will have the opportunity to voice their boundarys/hard lines for both the DM to know what content to avoid but also the other players to know what the limit is, this will allow the DM to be able to run the session and allow the boundaries to be kept. The X, N and O cards, will be done digitally and will be sent via private message to the DM/by the DM to ensure that everyone is okay and to change content if required. There will be a short break around the mid point of each game. Finally, the DM will check in regularly with each player, 1) to obtain feedback relating to the game and its direction 2) to ensure player is happy with the game/content 3) to receive criticism of what can be improved.
