About the adventure
Night City, the city of dreams! Where chooms like you and me come in to get rich, get famous, and hopefully not get bent in the process! It ain't easy out on the Street so you're gonna need some choombatas with you that will have your back. You'll be facing off gangbangers, corpos, rent-a-cops and Lord knows who else that have a full clip and ready to take everything you have! You'll be playing the part of citizens in the great Night City, the iconic city on the borders of Southern and Northern California. The fall of the Arasaka Megacorp has changed the status quo here, shaking Night City down to its very core! Night City Bay's lookin' mighty bloody right now, and other megacorps are rolling in to take their piece of the pie. What poor gonk is in the middle of this? About me
Hi! I'm James, but my handles used are MalachiteRain and Queen Otter! I'm a DM from Eastern Europe with a penchant for the more gritty aspects of Tabletop Roleplaying and custom-made settings. I wish to host games and adventures therein because I find it a much more rewarding experience to let my creativity and story entertain people, and the opportunity to do so is quite alluring. From me you can expect intriguing plotlines in custom and very fleshed out settings that I make using the systems at hand. Twists to your staples to enhance them, as well as a great dedication to immersing players in the world at large. Fantasy was my beginning and I have since leaned more into Sci-fi and cyberpunk settings. My tenure as GM has been around 9 years or so, starting with D&D 3.5 after just reading the Dungeon Master's Guide. Since then I've been a Forever GM of sorts with the majority of my time cutting my teeth on 3.5, Pathfinder and finally 5th edition D&D. 5e is my system of choice, but that doesn't mean I am not up for running other systems such as Call of Cthulhu, Pathfinder 1e or even Dark Heresy.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen during Session 0, with all of us working together to hash out characters, explain the rules and see what your plans are in the game.
The group is in the middle of doing their third gig, the group being comprised of a Solo, Medtech, and Corpo. We're looking for one more player to fill up the group. The campaign will be using a meld of a detailed and indepth supplement of yours truly, and the newly-released Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit. What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a Discord account to join the server where Voice Chat will take place, as well as a working internet connection and a microphone. I will provide you the materials required for play and everything else, and answer any questions you may have.
What Otter brings to the table
I provide hand-made maps for planned combat encounters as well as other assets, the Foundry Virtual Tabletop customized to be as diegetic as possible in its interactivity, as well as passionate voice acting and characterizations. There will be plenty of music to set the scene and tone. From me as a GM, you can expect for me to lean more into the Rule of Cool rather than be a stickler for the rules. I'm always happy to hear out-of-the-box thinking and working with it!

How Otter creates a safe table
What we will cover at Session 0 are the expectations, basics and limits, what your lines and veils are and how the X, N, and O Cards are going to be used, and any questions you might have. I always make sure to check if everyone had fun and if they had any issues that they weren't able to voice before. The system of choice is Cyberpunk RED with a meld of my own supplement designed specifically to bring 2070's to life, and the newly-released Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit. You can expect a good amount of roleplay with combat more as a consequence of actions than just for the sake of it, and some heavy topics can arise due to the setting being a dystopian future of corporate/government oppression.
