About the adventure
In the Feymist Forest where satyrs and dryads dwell, a dragon lurks near the elven town of Mae'itel. They say it has scales as green as moss and breath as deadly as nightshade, and it has been a thorn in the side of the town for years. It has pulled pranks, caused mischief, and stolen goods. Recently, its antics have upgraded from harmful trickery to something much worse.... The dragon grows in power and must be stopped! Adventurers beware! The dragon is known to manipulate illusions to its advantage. Whoever should be brave enough to take on this magical foe must steel themselves against its deceptions, tricks, and traps to track down and battle this cunning menace! This one shot adventure for 6th level characters promises exciting combat and narrative RP alike. New players can expect hands-on assistance from the GM to allow for a fun game regardless of experience. Players well-versed with D&D can expect dynamic combat that is sure to challenge and captivate.

Creating your character
Character Sheets. - 1. You can create a character in dndbeyond (I have content sharing enabled with many character options for you to use for free.) In this case, please download the Beyond20 Chrome Extension so that your rolls appear in the Foundry. The extension can be found here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/beyond-20/gnblbpbepfbfmoobegdogkglpbhcjofh?hl=en - 2. Alternatively, you can create your character directly in the Foundry. However, the VTT only supports SRD content. Overview. -Characters are 6th level. -Ability Scores must be generated through Point Buy or the Standard Array. -Hit Points use the fixed value only. -All WotC published content (not Uneathed Arcana) is allowed. -All Matt Mercer and Critical Role content is allowed. -Multiclassing and Feats are allowed. -Customizing Your Origin and all optional class features are allowed. -Homebrew is disallowed. Equipment. -You gain the starting equipment from your class. In addition, you have 5 points to spend towards what magic items or additional starting gold you want for your character. Verdant Trickery is the first game in the Dragons! episodic series! Drop in and out throughout the campaign as you like without a consistent locked-in group, which means so commitment! Think of it like a movie theater. Verdant Trickery is the first movie, which will have its limited run for one week. Following it, Wandering Island will have its limited run for the next week. And so on! I am happy to welcome anyone to my table! This is a game for fun heroics, daring high-stakes drama, and equal parts RP and combat! I would encourage players away from bringing OP builds to the table.

I have years of experience with 5e, I share most of the books on dndbeyond for your use, and I make my own custom and high quality game maps. I use the Foundry VTT through the Forge service. I can support Foundry character sheets and D&D Beyond character sheets; you can choose which character sheet to use.
