About me

Hello! My name is Louis, although I tend to go by LOUigi in most settings. My pronouns are He/They, I am 22 years old, and I have been DMing for about 3-4 years now. I mainly play D&D 5e, however I have experience playing Pathfinder 2e, and am interested in checking out new TTRPGs and platforms to play them on. I pride myself on hosting a very inclusive and open space for players to express themselves and feel safe. For context, I am a gay afro-latino man, and so TTRPG spaces can be toxic at times, not to mention for femme-presenting individuals, and so I want to create campaigns where people can feel safe and escape from the (let's be honest) horrors of reality. I am big into communication being key, and so my DMs are always open, and I will take your comments/requests in good faith because my main priority is that my players be happy and enjoying themselves. This can range from a change in language used during session when referring to certain topics to even changing classes/subclasses. I will do my best to tie that in story/plot-wise, but I care less about your character's gameplay mechanics as long as you the player are enjoying playing them. If this sounds like a space for you, feel free to reach out, and I would love to have you!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will occur in DND Beyond. This will be done during Session 0, and once character creation is created, we will undergo a small roleplay/combat preview to test party dynamics and make sure character sheets are made correctly.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Mics are required, but if you would rather not show yourself, I am all for no webcam. The rules should be read ahead of time. A Roll20 account and/or a DND Beyond account is required.

What Louis brings to the table

I have a D&D Beyond Master Tier Subscription, so you can utilize all of the content I own on there for character creation. I will have useful links available for character creation and leveling up, and am always available for questions outside of session. I will have a discord server set up for player communication and out of session party development. I own multiple D&D Books and have a good knowledge of the options available for characters, so always available to answer questions.

Safety

How Louis creates a safe table

I will be sending a document for each player to note their Lines and Veils, as well as any comments they may have for the campaign and what they would want me to know before a Session 0. Session 0 will be a combination of character introductions, party dynamic discussions, and a discussion of actual group discussion in and out of game. Aftercare/Debriefing consists of a general, chill discussion for those who wish to stay behind and discuss what happened in the session- this allows for feedback to be given about the session, GMing style, and plot points with no judgement.
