About the adventure

Welcome to the world of MÖRK BORG, where the dead don't always stay buried and the end is nigh. You awaken in Graven-Tosk, a sprawling graveyard deep within the haunted forest of Sarkash, with nothing but corpses for company. But don't despair, you've been given a second chance. Loot what you can and prepare for the worst, because something sinister is stirring in the fog. This mini-campaign is based around the core Misery mechanic of the MÖRK BORG rulebook and setting. At the end of each adventure, the next Misery will be rolled until the final Misery (7:7) is revealed, the world comes to an end, and the campaign will be over. Burn the book. This is primarily a dungeon and hex-crawl into the core content of MÖRK BORG, including Graves Left Wanting, The Death Ziggurat, and Bloat. This is a “greatest hits” campaign for those who want to finally experience all of that core MÖRK BORG content a tight "one season" experience. This is a premium virtual tabletop experience using Foundry VTT, complete with professional maps, dynamic vision and lighting, immersive ambient music and sound effects, illustrated handouts, and virtual dice. Gameplay details

I'm aiming for each session to be a self-contained 3-4 hour crawl with some time left for non-adventure roleplay, shopping, advancement, and the occasional deadly random encounter. Characters will hit the "Get Better" (level up) button at the end of each session they participate in, providing 6 levels of advancement for players who survive and play til The End.

How will character creation work

Players are welcome to roll their own characters in session zero. I will have a roster of premades to choose from, and new characters can be made with the press of a button. MÖRK BORG is a deadly world, and players can expect their characters to fall to some terrible fate! Backups will be available from the roster and new characters will be brought back into the action fast.
