About the adventure
The wait is nearly over, as a new season of "The Deepest Quest" moves out of pre-production! Fans from across the multiverse, already flooding into Sigil for front-row seats to the Mad Mage's Dungeon extravaganza, are all wondering the same thing: Who will be chosen? In the aftermath of last season's *disastrous* final episode, many feared the show would never air again, but a Halaster Box Office representative had this to say about the steps they've taken to ensure nothing like it happens again: "[null.dweomereStack@COMPREHEND.LANGUAGES...Arcanalink broken, see console for details]" With those official assurances, and the tacit resolution of legal battles between the network and Mechanus Prime, people of all worlds are holding their breath for the most-anticipated interdimensional media event in history. For fans, the hard part, waiting, is nearly over. But for The Chosen, whoever they may be... we wish them great fortune in the crucible to come. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. [The Deepest Quest! is a re-work of WOTCs truly epic dungeon adventure, "Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage," that puts players at the center of a magical game-show. This ever-shifting labyrinth is packed with ancient treasures, deadly foes, and forgotten secrets. This campaign will go from levels 1-20 and is ideal for players interested in lots of action, loot, and hi-jinks.]

About me
My love of role-playing games began with one simple question during an after-school D&D campaign hosted by my high school math teacher. Our party entered a seemingly empty village and found a large cache of valuables waiting in the town square. Two terrified villagers approached and begged us not to take anything, explaining that the supplies were there to appease an approaching bandit party. But the villagers were at an impasse: without the supplies, they would perish; without the offering, the bandits would take everything by force. More villagers emerged from hiding, some warning us away and others begging for our help. "So," my teacher asked, "What do you want to do?" As a professional GM, my goal is to share the thrill of endless possibility and moral urgency I felt then by combining my backgrounds in performance, writing fiction, and multimedia art to set the stage for *your* creativity. The adventures I write, the worlds I develop, and the characters I play are there to help you choose which problems to solve and how to solve them, because those choices are what make role-playing games so rewarding. So, what do you want to do?

Creating your character
We'll use D&D Beyond (with all content enabled from me, so you won't have to purchase anything) to make characters together, which I'll then import into Foundry VTT. I'm a big fan of working with players to help fit their character into the world, the story, and the rest of the party, but I won't push too hard if you just want to jump in without an elaborate backstory.
Monday afternoon. Party currently contains, a dwarf rune knight, a half-orc paladin, a half-elf wild rogue, and elf illusion wizard, and a kenku bardlock.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Essentials: headphones, microphone, Discord, an account on D&D Beyond, a basic understanding of the rules of D&D 5e (I'm happy to provide some material and coaching to help new players) , a personal computer (Foundry does not work on tablets, phones, and struggles with the Safari browser). We will also meet one-on-one for an interview/zero session where I will provide a brief survey that will help us establish common expectations for this campaign. Preferred but not essential: webcam, sharable link to heroforge rendition of your character.
What Roger the Frank brings to the table
D&D Beyond content, a link to the Foundry server, and [checks the size of the D&D folder] approaching a terabyte of maps, music and sound, spreadsheets, artwork, and supplemental PDFs xD. I am obsessed with bringing exciting music and soundscapes to my games, as well as animations I create in Premiere.

How Roger the Frank creates a safe table
This is a spin on a WOTC adventure. Expect lots of combat and danger with a very healthy dose of comedy.
