About me
Hello Internet, my name is Vernon. I have been playing and running games of D&D 5e s a regular basis since 2021 after giving up on the struggle of dealing with greifers in the world of online video gaming. I have a head full of mostly useless trivia and entertainment media to bring players to ruckus laughter or the depths of eldritch fear, but I refuse to take away player agency. Just remember that reciprocity is a thing. I have a simple guideline of play: Fun>rules, rules>chaos, real life>gaming I'm very player focused, meaning I try to give players every opportunity to meet their character goals. As a professional game master, it is also necessary to respect the boundaries, lines and veils of the players at the table. Consent is key to any good time and yes, I do provide and abide by a list of socially acceptable behavior between myself and the players at the table. Let's be real, nobody plays a game to be stressed out. We are here to have fun together but not at the expense of one another. If you are looking for a game master that is respectful, courteous, firm and punctual, you can find others, but I'd prefer that you have a seat at my virtual table.

Creating your character
This is a level 3 adventure Please have character sheets ready ten minutes before the start time of the game. If you wish, I will have stock characters to choose from.
Please have character sheets ready 10 minutes before start of the game. Since Strixhaven is set in in the multiverse, all official races and classes are allowed. This is a level 3 game and yes the Strixhaven backgrounds, feats and spells are allowed.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Keep in mind that your character is a 1st year student at Strixhaven College so you may select one of the four colleges for your character to be a part of. Please use either point buy or standard array for stats. Starting equipment is allowed, but if there is something you wish for your character to have, please speak to me before the start of the game for approval.

Any maps will be posted on the Discord channel during the game. I have the materials available to share on D&D Beyond. I give the option of playing via Discord or Zoom, even Xbox Live if that is required. Unfortunately, I don't have physical dice to give away.
