About the adventure
A beginner-friendly, role-play heavy, vivid and expansive campaign set in and around the City of Basilisk, also known as the City of One Hundred Walls. Ruled by the Carophon Royal Family for centuries, the city has been at war almost since its inception against the necromantic, undead forces of the Lich-King, Zendir Naziif! With the gods growing distant and hereditary magic growing weaker with each passing generation, Basilisk and its people are in dire need of strong, capable adventurers who will beat back the hordes of the Lich-King and bring peace back to the continent, lest Zendir's necromantic power spread across the world and spell the end for all civilization. This game is open to players of all skill levels, and as such, will be starting at level one.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I have played 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons for a little over two years now, and have had experience running two different home-brew campaigns with friends. I'm generally a very laid-back and descriptive DM and I can also help new players adjust themselves to the system and get more comfortable role-playing with others.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Storytelling
Voices
Visual Aid
The GM does a fantastic job of seething the mood, making it feel as though you’re actually in that world. He brings music, voices, and sometimes he’ll have a background prepared as well! Not only does he set up the theme and setting well, but does a amazing job when letting players get creative with their characters. He works well with homebrew, and will work with the players when it comes to their ideas. When it come to this DM, no matter how it goes, everyone will be having a great and fun time!
This guy was by far the best dm ive ever had in my 8 years of table top gaming. Every session felt well planned, immersive, inclusive and we always ended with a great hook to keep us wanting to come back. I definitely recommend him to anyone i know personally and i know anyone who hires him will have a great time.
Character creation
Creating your character
Characters will be created at level one on the D&D Beyond website, with assistance from myself if acclimation to the site or gameplay mechanics is necessary. Session 0 will be used to discuss party balance and players preferred roles therein. I will share content on D&D Beyond so that all players can access most if not all subclasses without a paid D&D Beyond subscription.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a working mic and accounts for both Discord and D&D Beyond. Characters will be made as a group during session 0. Characters created before session 0 will need to be checked over before the game starts.
What Connor brings to the table
For later sessions in the campaign, I will have 3d maps of specific environments using Dungeon Alchemist, and will share them using Screen Share on Discord. I will also be sharing digital content on D&D Beyond, including races, subclasses, spells, and magic items.

Safety
How Connor creates a safe table

There is also an open-door policy, and 15-minute breaks will be held halfway through every session. This game contains detailed descriptions of violence and combat, with light horror elements.
