One Shot - Elven Kingdom

Well prepared and efficient dming, lots of puzzles if thats your thing. We got through quite a bit of story in the session and the lore was rich. Would recommend.

I played my 1st D&D 5e campaign with Matt as GM. I hadn't played in years and Matt was very helpful with my character build and throughout game play. He always made sure I was comfortable even while managing 5 other more experienced players. The campaign we played was a homebrew called, Journey of the Gemstones. It was very creative and immersive. It had everything I look for in a campaign, great action, deep roleplay and descriptive settings. I have been playing and GMing myself since that great introductory campaign. Matt is still the best GM I've had and I've had some greats.

Really enjoyed the game as was very descriptive, the world very clearly adapted around us and was not as simple as it seemed at first and furthermore as a player who doesn't have to deal with puzzles often, they were included in a way which made them an obstacle which was fun to work out and yet had work arounds if one was really stuck. The way the story adapted to our choices and actions was brilliant and GM showed a clear ability to handle players who were not constructive too which is always a good sign!

Matt was a lovely GM! This session was low combat and high RP because we the players chose it that way! He allowed us to make the story come to life with our choices!! It was refreshing to play in a game where it's not just go in and murder everything. ( even though I like that too lol ) I highly recommend playing one of his games!!! It's worth it <3

I played a 15+ session campaign with this GM, my first real foray into D&D (I had spectated before but never really participated). They created an engaging story and did a great job at ensuring each player had their chance to shine, tailoring encounters to our party's synergies well and mostly maintaining a good difficulty level.

Matt is a very creative and adaptive DM. He’s rarely one to say no to player ideas and does a good job of making sure everyone is having fun. His combats are thrilling, his plots intriguing, and his puzzles confounding.
