About me
A long time player and new-ish DM. Love to role play with character voices. I prefer to make role play choices rather than min/maxing when leveling.

Steven is a wonderful DM. Knowing how to allow players to explore their characters while keeping us all on task is not an easy thing to do but Steven does it quite well. Steven knows when it’s cool to bend the rules a little to allow some fun things to happen. He has a wild sense of humor that is infectious at the table. I highly recommend playing with him if you want a silly time with fun RP and interesting combat encounters.
I knew Erin was going to be a kick @$$ DM as soon as we started with character intro scenes. Erin is the epitome of "yes and..." meets "Rule of Cool" meets "Storytelling Mastery". The way she gives us all a little time to shine in our RP moments is just top notch stuff. Our group has a more quiet player surrounded by quite a few "Type A" players and Erin doesn't miss a beat. She makes sure EVERYONE is a hero. Everyone is a main character. Erin's version of CoS is haunting, mysterious, and anxiety inducing in the BEST ways. When our group brings goofy vibes, Erin rolls with it and makes it all MEAN something. I cannot say enough good things about Erin. If you're on the fence...get off it. Come on over here. The ...water...is nice?
***EDIT*** Oh man. I think Taylar has outdone himself with this new campaign. The level of detail he put into just setting the scene on session one was incredible. Every NPC seemed real like they had a life. Every sight and sound has purpose. And our first encounter was harrowing and very unique! JOIN THIS GAME!!!! *** Taylar puts an incredible amount of thought and energy into incorporating what you want for your character into the worlds he builds. I have played a campaign that lasted a year and a half and currently play in one running for 7 months. He is very creative and loves to see his players use creativity. Rule of cool with a strong understanding of how the systems work.
While this review is only for a session 0 with a a tiny bit of combat to start, I can tell Andrew has an eye for storytelling and pace. This is my first time playing a modular and Andrew made it feel like it was his own with some cool Roll20 features, sounds, and voices he does for NPCs and enemies. The idea for my character is all about pushing/pulling/grappling/tossing and good ol' fisticuffs and 5E really isn't the best for that, but Andrew made my build feel good. I felt like I had what I wanted in just a quick 3 hour session.
