Lou

An absolute master class in storytelling chops and setting the right mood. Lou draws you into a dark, murky world and makes you feel comfortable simmering in its wretchedness. No one else can quite unnerve during a hallucination sequence like Lou. Wonderful.

Pathfinder 2e

Ran 554 sessions / Played 11 sessions

Of all the d20 fantasy adventure RPGs, this is my favorite. It's intelligently designed and gives players something interesting to choose every single session. Level 1 characters are perfectly playable and complex; Level 20 characters are perfectly playable and won't induce a headache. Paizo has done some pretty rad things with their game and the community, and I'm happy to support them.

Blades in the Dark avatar

Blades in the Dark

My absolute favorite tabletop RPG. It excels on selling you a theme, delivering on genre expectations, and hinting at all the wonderful mysteries that exist in the game's setting. The flashback mechanic is so incredible for allowing players to feel in control of the game's narrative. I highly recommend this game to everyone who loves tabletop RPGs, you should try it at least once.

Salman Corbette/TOTAL IMPROV

Played 23 sessions

Corb is the man. His sessions are laid-back, imaginative, and very fun to sit down for. He does an excellent job of commanding tone and knowing when to make things silly (often) and when to make things dramatic (soul-wrenching).

Matthew

Matthew was extremely patient and welcoming to newcomers! He did a great job at introducing the basics of an unfamiliar RPG system for those just coming into the game. He's also fantastic at summing up the themes of the campaign right off the bat and ensuring that everybody is on the same page for starting the story.
