About me
I am working on growing my skills as a role player, and I enjoy getting to fight some epic battle scenarios along the way. I am in the process of jotting down home brew ideas and look forward to the day that I host my own session as a GM.

I have had the pleasure of playing with Dominic as my Dungeon Master for over six months in the Pathfinder 2 system, and I can confidently say he ranks among my top two GMs. Having been at many tables, I can truly appreciate his skill and dedication. As someone who is still relatively new to Pathfinder and primarily serves as a DM for 5e, I often find myself forgetting the rules and mechanics of Pathfinder 2. However, Dominic has shown incredible patience throughout our sessions. He consistently takes the time to explain everything, ensuring I feel comfortable and engaged. I particularly appreciate his encouraging phrase, “great question” when I inquire about the mechanics or role-playing aspect of a situation. His response not only validates my question but also demonstrates his commitment to thinking creatively alongside his players. This simple gesture makes a significant difference in my gaming experience. Dominic has also ventured into the Play-by-Post (PbP) format, leading a well-paced table that accommodates everyone’s posting style while keeping the storyline enjoyable and immersive. Overall, I highly recommend Dominic as an outstanding GM. His patient, creative, and engaging approach to running games makes each session a memorable experience.
DnD first peaked my interest in 2012-2013 where I had the chance to enter the world of mystery and adventure. Through pain, sacrifice, service, and duty to the realm, I was able to play a celestial Deva, an angelic creature that wracked the world's enemies with electrical magic and healed my allies with a soft touch or calming word. I played a tempest cleric, and I enjoyed every second of the combat, gritty world that my party and I were a part of. Flash forward 10 years, and I have been blessed with an opportunity to re-step back into the DnD world and learn, learn, and learn some more. This time I was learning as a player who had a future desire to GM. Dnd 5e is quickly became my passion project. I loved the mechanics and the depth it offered, allowing for limitless creativity and storytelling. The streamlined ruleset of DnD 5e makes it accessible to new players while still providing enough complexity for veterans to enjoy. The advantage/disadvantage mechanic adds a layer of strategy to every decision, making each roll of the dice feel impactful. Character creation has always been a highlight for me. The diverse backgrounds, races, and classes allow players to craft unique personas that can evolve during the campaign. Whether you're a cunning rogue navigating the shadows or a noble paladin wielding justice, each character feels distinct and vital to the group's dynamics. Notably, the emphasis on storytelling is what truly sets DnD 5e apart. The balance between role-playing and combat keeps the game engaging. I appreciate how narratives can shift based on player choices, creating a collaborative storytelling experience that feels alive. The world-building tools in the Dungeon Master’s Kit are invaluable for crafting immersive experiences. Additionally, the vast array of supplementary materials, from expansions like "Xanathar's Guide to Everything" and "Tasha's Cauldron of Everything" to various adventure modules, has expanded the scope of what is possible within the game. These resources not only enrich the gameplay experience but also spark inspiration for GMs looking to create their own content. As I prepare for my journey into the role of a GM, I look back on my experiences as a player with a sense of gratitude. Each session has contributed to my understanding of the game, the importance of player agency, and how to foster an inclusive atmosphere at the table. I eagerly anticipate the chance to craft tales in the worlds we've explored, weaving together threads of adventure in a tapestry that celebrates both heroism and camaraderie. In conclusion, DnD 5e is not just a game; it’s a vibrant community and a catalyst for creativity. Whether you are a seasoned player or just stepping into this realm of imagination, there’s a place for you at the table. I can't wait to see where this adventure leads next.
I was a part of a one shot with Jedi, and it was okay. I think it was almost a full hour into the session before we actually started the gameplay as he was late to the VC, and then some tech issues. There was a bit of difficulty in the beginning with just forward progression. During the session there was just not a cohesive mix between the GM and the players. Ran into an issue where it felt like he implemented a rule out of no where which might have been one of his rules, but it wasn't discussed ever. Overall, not a great experience. I hope future players have fun though.
Holy crap. Randall, my man, you made this session top tier and one of the best sessions that I've played in thus far. If you're interested in playing with a GM that knows his stuff, Randall is your guy. At this point, I think less words speak louder. Thank you Randall.
