Thoroughly enjoyed the one shot of 'Draw Steel' that DM Emi hosted. A DM dedicated to the safety and comfort of their players they present a table which is inclusive, welcoming and comforting. DM Emi also excels as a storyteller and their approach with setting the scene and the characters is nothing short of incredible! A great DM I would readily suggest for any table looking to engage in an amazing ttrpg experience!

Finding a great GM is a difficult enough of a task on it's own. Finding a great GM that inspires you, who's talent, wit and patience emboldens you to further immerse yourself in the experience and do all that you can do to be as great; those are rare. Very few games capture the essence of The Lord of the Rings as The One Ring 2nd Edition. Here is an experience in which the adventurous (from stalwart dwarves to the most clever of hobbitses) can explore the wilds of the lone and oft desolate lands of Eriador and encounter renown characters of LotR fame. Yet, where the experience excels is in the camaraderie of the fellowship (your group) and how they struggle against the dark influences of the ever present Shadow. As characters become weary and tired, from journeying and encounters, the simple joys of your companions shall inspire hope and lend you strength to continue on. As a GM who prefers narrative games, Fabula Ultima is fast becoming my game of choice! I could speak upon the easy-to-learn mechanics, extensive options for character choices as well as enhancements, or emphasize the tools and guides offered to GMs of all experiences levels, which provides guidance in how to best engage the system. Yet, I'd rather focus upon the empahsis on player agency and the involvement of all players in the creation of the narrative. In Fabula Ultima, the players participate in the guidance of the narrative, both the world in which the PCs find themselves as well as the overall story. Fabula Points, the meta currency for players, assists in this aspect by allowing alterations to aspects of the story as the game unravels. An excellent system for amazing RP experiences! Highly Recommend! Two thumbs up! ☆☆☆☆☆
