Joey The DM

About me

I'm Joey, a passionate and experienced Dungeon Master dedicated to crafting a fun story-telling experiences. I have always had great feedback at the end of my sessions & thought I'd try this & go semi-pro. I enjoy creating immersive campaigns that blend dramatic moments, tactical challenges, and opportunities for genuine character development. My DMing style emphasizes: - My full range of stupid impressions & silly voices. - I'll be joking and we will be having fun the majority of the time, but I'm not afraid to tackle dark & gritty storylines. - Dynamic worlds that respond to player choices and evolve based on party decisions. I base a lot of my writing around the fantasy I love, LOTR, The Witcher, The Pariah, The other ones. - Balanced gameplay that rewards both creative problem-solving and strategic thinking. I typically run my games with high magic, but I also have some pre-written low magic campaigns. - Character arcs woven into the campaign narrative. I think that writing a backstory in itself is therapeutic & I will read & respect each one. I will go further into detail on session 0. - Professional preparation and organization to maximize your enjoyment at the table. - My rules will be outlined in Session 0.
