I've been running CoS (with She is the Ancient) for over 3 years now. I've introduced hundreds of players to Barovia and its insatiable bite keeps bringing people back as though they're charmed by the Countess. Gothic horror has its roots deep in queer culture and this campaign is a classic tale that, while it needs a little bit of clean up, stands the test of time where other campaign modules do not. Absolutely my most popular campaign. Can be difficult to keep people long-term because many people bounce off of the heavy vibes, so having a strong recruiting/retention game is required.

It's hard to believe that they're revamping the game soon with the second edition, but make no mistake: What ALIEN RPG does well, it does as the GOAT. There is no better horror tabletop game! Learning to play is easy and fun. If you are a Foundry VTT player/GM, then the support is unmatched. Finding resources for music, sound effects, visual aids, and learn-to-play tools is easy. The community has provided an abundance of content to use - including a fan-made short CRT-style video for the one shot scenario Hope's Last Day.

Coriolis is a system that has some flaws but ultimately the vibes are impeccable. If you want space horror? Check. Political intrigue? Check. Gun fights? Check. The lore provided by Free League is pretty interesting and thought provoking. Fairly mature game and the associated campaign can have some rough patches, but overall fun.

I have a few nitpicks about the system but overall it's the most dynamic system with which to tell very deep relationships, anti (or pro) capitalist violence, fun combat and exciting equipment/skill advancement. Easy to homebrew mechanics or equipment. Setting is dope.
