Your GM Chandler

I had the pleasure of being part of Your GM Chandlers Learn to Play for the Walking Dead and this was a fantastic experience. His prep and knowledge of both gaming and specific system was evident. His rules briefing was short enough to get us going and then he built on these points as we peeled back the onion. His preparation in Alchemy VTT for the scenes and transitions were fantastic and everything just worked. He was also firm but fair, knowing that survival was not guaranteed, however fun was. He also kept the pace moving so we could experience what we needed for a Learn to Play and One-Shot. Thank you.

So we are diving into the Dune-iverse and loving it. What's great is everybody knows the story of Dune, Harkonnen, Atreides and and an empire brought to its knees - this is not that story. While it is an epic story it would have been yet one more retread. We are but a minor house, House Arachnis striving among our peers and rivals. Everything started with a dress for the Empress Dowager and she will make a statement within the court. So mundane, so deadly and the webs begin to unfurl. Dye is poison, assassins with silk, and a personal invite for a minor house to the Imperial Court of Kaitain. We are in over our head and loving every minute of it.

It was great to play in Cussa's game. I am new to Vaesen and pretty versed on Alchemy and he is very versed in Vaesen and fairly new to Alchemy. He handled the game like a true professional and created a fantastic experience for all of us. He kept the game rolling yet always had time for one more question. With Alchemy being a fairly new platform not even yet Version One it has some moving targets and a few things to polish up and Cussa handled this like a champ.
