I was in Blake's Call of the Netherdeep Play by Post, and it was one of the best groups I've had the pleasure of playing with. Blake brought a great mix of combat, exploration, skill checks, and role playing. He made the format, rules, and other details of the game very clear, and clarified details as needed. Blake is very responsive to the Play by Post or off-band questions, and the tempo/pacing was great, even accommodating for significantly different time zones. His discord is also a good mix of simplicity and functionality. Some games have only 2-3 channels which creates a lot of clutter, and some games have 173 channels which is just daunting and not necessary imo. 10/10 would recommend, very sad to have had to drop out prematurely. I usually like to include "wishes" for constructive feedback but honestly struggled with this one. The one thing I came up with is that Blake is relatively new to the tools used for PBP, but this was not really a problem. He (and all of us) is learning, and if something came up that we couldn't sort out in a timely manner within the tools, we worked around them without impacting the fluidity of the game.
