About me
6 months into D&D, finding my way as I go, but enjoying playing and soon trying out DMing. I like communities, nature, and people caring about each other - all of which often seem to come up in D&D

Enjoyed my session with this DM - the space was held well, and the party were each given moments to shine. They knew their stuff, and had a gentle sense of humour about things. The session's content was well measured - it meant that everything could breathe well in the time we had available. I like the idea of the conceit - just a fun way of throwing people into odd little encounters and stuff
A good session! Getting set-up was a bit different to normal, with a fair bit of homebrew in terms of mechanics and content, and needing to fill in a form in Discord for character creation (though I understand I could have just imported a PC for D&D Beyond). Once the session started, it was good fun - lots of work had gone into making Foundry's maps and noises atmospheric!
I played a western themed one shot DMed by Buzzo. I went in worried it would feel like a bit of a naff novelty session (like cheese with fruit in it), but Buzzo's commitment to the visuals, voices, vibes and music made it feel like a really legit experience. He let every player shine, and managed a group with different levels of experience really well. I'll definitely join another game when I have the time
I wasn't able to join the game on time as I hadn't been sent details of the Discord chat, campaign page, or character requirements. I joined and caught up with the group, and character creation took the session's first hour. We then entered a combat which around 2 hours - I felt like the pacing could have been better, and the DM could have focused the group better. Once the GM's confidence working with a group, working with 5e rules, and working with Roll20 improves, I'd be interested in trying something again.
