Crow of Murders

I have truly enjoyed playing with Apheline as Game Master. Play-by-post games are difficult to keep moving, but she consistently responds quickly to player's posts, encourages creative ideas, and promotes a fun and positive game environment. She is also a talented writer, which makes reading her descriptions and interacting with her NPCs a real pleasure.

I have played in many, many games DMed by Soli. She runs her adventures with skill and confidence, and fosters a friendly and fun gaming environment. As a veteran gamer, her experience and knowledge are impressive. She expertly schools new players on the ins and outs, and arbitrates player concerns with patience and respect. I would play D&D with her anytime (weather permitting).

Play-by-post is by far my favorite way to play Dungeons and Dragons but satisfying play-by-post requires additional skills and experience to those required to run a live game. After playing in one of Giuseppe's games for a little over two weeks I can say that he has been respectful and professional toward his players, demonstrates great understanding of the game, and does an terrific job balancing strong story-telling skills and effective prose with helpfulness and responsiveness to his players, resulting in a very fun game experience. I have played with at least a dozen DMs on Start Playing, but he is the first that I've felt compelled to recommend to anyone.
