A little over a year ago, I nervously arrived at my first DnD session. I had watched hours of critical role, but this was going to be my first attempt at playing myself. Would everyone be nice? Would I fit in? Would we click enough to keep playing? Nelson immediately made me feel welcome - he is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, as well as excellent and guiding us new players down a fun path. I have been playing with Nelson for over a year now, and I am endlessly grateful for his dedication. He has crafted an intricate, beautiful world that weaves all of my fellow players backstories together in a seamless and powerful way. Our weekly games seriously sustain me and get me through. He is endlessly patient with all of our questions and world building, and knows when to rule of cool and when to reign in our crazy suggestions. I’d recommend Nelson to anyone looking just to get started or more advanced players as well!
