Calvin has been a great DM! I am in his Phandelver & Below play-by-post campaign, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the play-by-post format. Calvin really helped me flesh out my character, providing lots of prompting to dive deep into my ranger's backstory, and we created some interesting narrative hooks for us to use later in the campaign. His posts as the DM are always colorful and evocative, helping to create immersion. He is a patient teacher, helping me understand the Discord bots used in play by post campaigns much better, and he has also been gracious when life gets in the way of the game. His Discord community is well organized, well moderated, and full of fun people. And he is just an all-around nice guy! I highly recommend him for your next game.

Playing with Fabled was an absolute blast! She crafted a detailed, engaging homebrew setting for our one-shot that the players could really inhabit. She helped flesh out each character and fostered connections between the characters, setting the stage for meaningful roleplay moments. I never would have thought my character might have an actual character arc in a one-shot, but he did, all thanks for Fabled's attention to detail and quick thinking during the session. It was clear she had taken the time to incorporate little easter eggs in the form of familiar NPCs or settings for returning players to her games, which was a nice touch. I loved the personality she brought to every NPC - we played with webcams on, so we got to see how great of an actress she is! And all the while, she kept the tone light and fun. She's an all-around pleasure to play with, and I'll definitely be back!

I enjoyed my one shot with Mega Flare! He did a great job including player backstories and encouraging us to collaborate as storytellers, and I loved the way he seemed genuinely excited by clever player moves. He filled his homebrew setting with great atmosphere (I particularly liked the music he chose). He made it easy and quick to get my character sheets and VTT up and running, and is an all-around nice guy!
