At the moment of writing I have played ten sessions with Jack, and all this time he treated me an my fellow players with respect, always ready to listen and to welcome other’s creative input. His games are fun and relaxing, maybe because the genre of our campaign is pretty chill: the tension is low, emotions don’t overwhelm me. Still, Jack’s effort is real and consistent, with each session leaving me eager for the next one. Before we started, Jack had a private conversation with me to find out my expectations and boundaries, and he actually listened. We never had a problem with miscommunication or antagonism. Because I feel comfortable at his table, I can express myself and be creative, which for me is one of the best aspects of role-playing.
