About me
I have about 7 years experience with TTRPGs, starting just before COVID. Mostly I have played in SWRPG and Genesys systems as that's what my friend who got me into the hobby was running. I have also run a campaign of SWRPG and am currently GMing a home campaign of Daggerheart. I enjoy playing those systems but as i have played more, I have found that there is an itch for a more tactical style game that those systems have trouble scratching. So I find myself here looking for a more combat and tactical style of game.

I have had a great time playing with AcrylicWolf/Eric over the past couple months. Even when we were struggling with a lack of commitment from other players he always was committed to running a great session for those of us who were there. A very good mix of roleplay, skill checks, social encounters, and combats both small and epic in scale. He uses a very cool VTT called Talespire that honestly blew me away with its capabilities and the level of detail Eric puts into it. He also excels at running some truly massive combats. I have played with DMs before where that number of enemies can be a slog, just in terms of how long it takes, but Eric really keeps it moving and the excitement high. That would be the only suggestion i would make, do just make sure that you are able to make use of the VTT. You will probably need a laptop/desktop with Steam as opposed to just a tablet or chromebook. There are ways to work around it, but it honestly adds so much to the experience.
Kirgo is a wonderful DM, very flexible with player requests and I've honestly had a blast every session. A nice mix of combat and exploration. He was very patient with me as I learned the system and with another new player in the game. I would join another game or campaign in a heartbeat with him as DM.
I really enjoyed playing through this beginner adventure with Bernard. He really took his time to ensure that the 3 of us were familiar with the character sheets and our various abilities, which for me was quite a lot. The session did run long, but for me personally that wasn't a drawback, but it might be something to consider for a different player. i really liked his use of music and sound effects to set the scene, whether it was camping in the forest, the bustle of a tavern, or exciting music in combat. The virtual tabletop was quite cool too.
