Wowwwww what a fun mini campaign!! This was my first mini campaign through Start Playing, and what a treat it was! Maven has created such an AMAZING homebrew world! So well thought out with pantheons and nations and cities and everything you could want! From the very start, I felt encouraged as a new role-player to get in and just mess around and find out what clicked. It also helped that the party was very accepting and kind, but I feel the DM sets the tone for this, so still lots of credit to Maven! The sessions were always full of something interesting, whether it was combat or just narrative exploration, no filler episodes in this one! By the end of the campaign, our party really wanted to keep exploring this world, and though I may not return as the same character, I hope to come back and continue in this fun world Maven created! Genuinely such a great experience for someone newer to the campaign model on Start Playing, and I just hope others can live up to it!

I really enjoyed the level of world-building and detail that went into the one-shot I played with Sonia. The combats were intense and always had some high stakes, and the puzzles were fun and made us think as a party!
