Zach

Leland is a really uniquely awesome DM. His games are friendly, relaxed, and easy to fall into headfirst. He has been a great help as I came back to D&D after nearly 15 years (and two version changes). The time that he spent with our group during the first few sessions fleshing out characters made all the difference in my enjoyment as the campaign advanced, and I'm taking that lesson & others like it to my own table with my friends. You could say that Leland is "a DM's DM". He's always prepared, he's communicative about rules (both on and above the table), and he invests a great deal of effort into the community of players in his games. He's not at all afraid to tweak stories pre-emptively (adding an entire prologue act to a campaign to improve the experience is more than 99% of DMs would do), and encounter balance is always tough but fair. Oh, and his in-character voices are hilarious! If you want to have fun and find some new TTRPG buddies, come to one of Leland's tables.
