About me
Mid 40s mostly retired guy living just outside of Anchorage. I've some experience with D&D from the 2e days. I recently picked back up the hobby about 2 years ago as a player and DM, but it's pretty frustrating to find a steady local table here in AK, so I'm switching to online. My preferred system is whatever we're calling D&D 2024/5.5. I'm personally not a super optimizer, but I do like a little common-sense in party builds/tactics. I also generally really like the RAW, but appreciate some divergence when it makes sense (I'm looking at you super limiting background options!).

Ty is a fantastic DM! He knows the campaign, locations, NPCs, and lore, inside and out. The mix of combat, roleplay, and exploration all feel balanced and unforced. The pacing is great, there is always plenty to do, and challenge is adjusted on the fly when a player is absent. Best of all though, he is super quick on his feet. My party is all shenanigans all the time. We go completely off script almost every session. Ty smoothly rolls with the insanity, allowing us to tell our story while still making sure we actually navigate campaign’s plot. I cannot recommend him enough!

Chance is an awesome DM who knows how to guide a party all the way through a long campaign. His voice work makes each encounter more lively and fun, but the real draw for me is his incredible depth of knowledge of the setting. He knows every location, every NPC's motivation and plays them all in a confident and engaging way.
