About me
Mid 40s mostly retired guy living just outside of Anchorage. I've some experience with D&D from the 2e days. I recently picked back up the hobby about 2 years ago as a player and DM, but it's pretty frustrating to find a steady local table here in AK, so I'm switching to online. My preferred system is whatever we're calling D&D 2024/5.5. I'm personally not a super optimizer, but I do like a little common-sense in party builds/tactics. I also generally really like the RAW, but appreciate some divergence when it makes sense (I'm looking at you super limiting background options!).

Chance is an awesome DM who knows how to guide a party all the way through a long campaign. His voice work makes each encounter more lively and fun, but the real draw for me is his incredible depth of knowledge of the setting. He knows every location, every NPC's motivation and plays them all in a confident and engaging way.
