A DM for the ages. The campaign is a year old now and it is the highlight of my week. He has cultivated a table that is fun, inclusive and safe. Rui has proven time and again that he can handle everything we throw at thim, he will roll with it, laughing. He makes sure every single character has a moment to shine, speak or do whatever they want, even if it means splitting the party. He is a master at improv and he will break your heart at the worst time and mend it a second later. The pacing is always perfect, keeping you fully engaged whether your character is in the scene or not. Be prepared to shine but don't expect him to go easy on you. Rui will make you sweat, laugh and maybe even cry, but it's always worth it!

Amazing DM. Great for new players learning how to play, great for more experienced players as well. Knows how to set the mood and how to surprise us in the (not always) greatest ways possible. When we want to get creative he finds ways to make it work. I feel comfortable playing with him and I look forward to the rest of the campaign!
