Moldvay/Cook B/X D&D was my start into RPGs, with a little AD&D on the side. After a decades-long absence from the hobby, I got back into it with 5e. I currently play in two campaigns and DM in two campaigns. Recently I have been attracted to OSR game systems that bring me back to my roots.

Bryan gave us a succinct, thorough, and super-fun introduction to Shadowdark. He made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable at the table using tools like the Deck of Player Safety. His approach of projecting a miniature set in YouTube to help us visualize the scenes was novel and well-done. I highly recommend him for a friendly and fun game. Adding on: he ran a second session for players I brought over from my 5e game. Every bit as enjoyable as the first one. Can’t say enough good things!
