About me
Started playing D&D 1983. I first played the B, E, and C box sets of the BECMI rules. Then we moved on to AD&D first edition, then 2nd edition, then (D&D) 3rd and later 3.5 editions, and then finally 4th edition. I stopped playing about a year after 4th edition came out and didn't start playing again until summer of 2025. I played a bit of 5th edition that summer, but always missed the glory years of playing 3rd and 3.5 editions. That's when I first discovered Pathfinder 1st Edition and also started playing the Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous Owlcat computer games. Then I discovered this website and rediscovered my passion for TTRPG. Now it's Pathfinder 1st edition only for me, please.

Before I write anything else, I want to say that Santiago is friendly, kind, and knows the rules 100%. However, I didn't like how we didn't have a standard session zero where we spent time getting to know each other as players, each of our characters, and get our characters fully set up in Foundry. We had more of a session .5, at best, and then we were pushed out of the nest and forced to fly (so to speak). Even though I told him right off that I needed help with Foundry, as I had limited experience with it, he didn't really take time helping me set up my character and get abilities working. He just seemed to be in a rush to get the campaign started whether we were ready or not. I have since joined a campaign with another GM using Foundry, and he was great at helping me figure it out. Bottom line, Santiago is an awesome human being, but he just isn't the GM for me.
This is the first time I've played with a GM that I don't know personally, and one of just a handful of times I've ever played online, and it's been a blast. I've had a few sessions with Atracious, and they've all been brilliant so far. He really knows the rules and is so patient with teaching not only the game to us, but also the ins and outs of Fantasy Grounds. I feel so lucky that my first exposure on StarPlaying is him and I'm looking forward to seeing not only this campaign through, but many others in the future. Whether you're a seasoned vet, or brand new at all of this, I can't recommend Atracious enough!
