I played with Soutalgon for the first time last week, and it was an awesome experience. I’d sent a request to join just a few hours before an ongoing campaign, and Soutalgon couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. He took the time to meet with me virtually to discuss party dynamics, my character expectations, and then walked me through every step of getting set up online and into the game. Throughout the entire process, he showed complete class and never once made me feel like a newbie. The session itself was fantastic — the mechanics, pacing, and overall management were all top-notch. A complete professional — I can’t recommend him highly enough.

DJ is an exceptional online Dungeon Master and easily one of the best I’ve played with. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the game, but just as importantly, he knows how to apply that knowledge in a way that keeps the game fun, fair, and engaging. He’s flexible and reasonable with rulings, always willing to adapt to the table and the story rather than rigidly enforcing rules at the expense of enjoyment. DJ is also incredibly easy to get along with—professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has a great experience. What really sets him apart is his patience and accommodation for new players. He takes the time to explain mechanics, answer questions, and help players feel comfortable without ever making them feel rushed or inexperienced. If you’re looking for a DM who balances structure with creativity, supports both new and experienced players, and runs a smooth, enjoyable game, DJ is absolutely top-tier. I’d gladly play in any campaign he runs.
