About me

haha roleplaying make brain go BRRR -- I've been playing TTRPGs (mainly D&D5e) for like...8 years now? I think? And last year, I finally took the plunge and started DMing a campaign with my closest friends. I LOVE DMing, but lately I've been missing just being a player, so I thought I'd poke around on here and see if I can find a game that fits my playstyle & busy schedule! Speaking of which, I just started school for Radiology, which has a pretty intense workload and must be my top priority. So, I'm hoping to find a game that meets bi-weekly (every two weeks, NOT twice a week), with folks who are understanding that there may be times when I unfortunately have to miss a session for something school-related. As a player, I LOVE building a fully fleshed-out character with a rich backstory, and then putting them through as much trauma as possible to see how they change and grow over the course of the campaign >:D I love being challenged, and I think that failure (in DND) is where the magic of storytelling truly happens -- I sometimes get just as excited when I roll a crit fail as a crit success! Character-driven collaborative storytelling, where each of the players get invested in everyone else's characters and stories, is my absolute favorite thing. I adore people who care deeply about their characters and are devoted to crafting an interesting, in-depth, satisfying narrative -- they're my favorite people to play with! I also do a lot of creative writing in my ever-dwindling free time, almost exclusively about my own OCs and their lore. Ask me about my Toxic Lesbian Elves if you ever wanna kill 2-3 hours, HAH.
