About me

I would like to note something first! I am still learning Portuguese (specifically Brazilian Portuguese,) so my primary language is definitely still English. I would love to use any opportunity to expose myself to it and learn/reinforce that way! -- Oh hi! I go by Aqua, though I'm known by so many names that I almost could care less. I am 28 years of age at the time of writing this up, and I have been exposed to tabletop games since I was a wee lass at 9 years old. My mother would often run games for her group of friends and would let me participate by giving ideas and letting me help fill out her dungeons with monsters. I guess you could say that I have a nurtured love for tabletops. I started playing back in D&D 3.0e (to this day, I still hold the Libris Mortis as the best published supplement to the system) and have since moved onto playing (and running!) a wide host of differing systems as I'm sure you can see from my profile. I don't really know how to close this out so uh... Today we're moomin'! 🦉

Chris

Where do I even begin with this review? Well, I suppose I should start with this: Chris was my DM for me back when I was in high school (goodness gracious, that was over 10 years ago), introduced to me by a friend of mine back in the day. I had never played Pathfinder 1e before, but had at the time years of 3.5e experience, and Chris was always extremely patient with me. If I could, I would vote for 5 tags but the system does not allow - So let me lay out the tags here: - He is creative and is willing to work with even the silliest character idea I could come up with other the years. Definitely a "Rule of Cool" kinda dude (which is apparently its own tag but I'm leaving it here anyway). - His worlds always feel real and grounded, spending so much effort in his settings with me; going so far to run multiple games within that setting for us. - INCLUSIVITY! Gods, I cannot describe this enough: he was willing to put up with my aggressively LGBT self for.. what, thirteen years now? He never once felt judgmental and even joked about it with me when I opened the channel, but never once took it too far. - Story telling! I touched on this earlier when I was talking about world-building, But Chris is a fantastic story teller, and is responsible for enabling what I would consider to be my favourite character to this day. - And last, but absolutely not least, he is definitely beginner friendly. He was patient with me when I would accidentally mix systems and was also the DM for several of my friends' first time playing TTRPGS. I consider Chris to have been a great friend and DM to me for a very long time, and I honestly cannot recommend him enough without sounding like I'm being forced to write this at gunpoint. If you are reading this, and you're still unsure of him; please scroll back to the top of this review and give it a once-over. I promise you he is worth the time.
