DM Blake was great to play with! Even though I only played a one-shot, it was impressive how quickly he made the world feel "lived in" with his descriptions and use of maps/images. When it came to rules, Blake had a very good sense of when to apply the Rule of Cool, when to have someone just roll for it, and when to look up the actual wording. It can be really easy to get bogged down in the rules during a one-shot but Blake had no problem expertly navigating that. I had a tremendous time and I hope I get to play in another game soon!

Robin is a fantastic DM! Our party can get a little chaotic at times and she does an excellent job of sensing when that chaos is facilitating a fun session and when it's time for the next story beat. One of my favorite things Robin does is reward little moments of roleplay that none of us are really expecting to amount to anything mechanically. On multiple occasions, though, we have been gleefully surprised to learn that something our characters did outside of combat had a meaningful impact on the world. Robin has also been incredibly responsive to my innumerable questions in between sessions. I am constantly asking about potential character options or details about spells and she always responds with clarity and reason. She runs the table largely Rules As Written and rolls pretty much everything in front of the table and this works really well for our group. Her NPC voices are also truly a delight. I highly recommend joining a Robin-run game if you have the chance!
