Stacezilla

Really professional and polished DM with a ton of great resources to help run the game. But its 45 mins into a 3hr oneshot and we're still sitting here doing roleplay intros to each player and character. With no end in sight or any idea about what we're doing. It's like playtime for my 6yr old. Might suit some, does not work for me.

He knows the rules well, is good at explaining things to new players and is friendly enough to do a good job. But he spent so much time just talking there was barely any oxygen left for the players to have a game. It was more like someone reading us a book. I found myself having to repeat the same action or suggestions a lot or just giving up as he'd keep talking over you or restart talking again. It was fun in parts but the rest just got old quickly. This is quite possibly because I wasn't a beginner and several other players were, so you might have a different experience.

Good DM. Very technically capable and a good dude who kept the story flowing and a great vibe for the party to thrive and let themselves be themselves.

Minimal info provided, link to the roll20 wasn't even sent. Game was already running when I arrived (early) and no info on wtf was happening. And the guy has such an annoying voice he uses as DM. Do not recommend at all.
