I've learned two systems (Werewolf: The Apocalypse and Daggerheart) in games with Ross. I'd highly recommend him as a storyteller in general, and as a good GM for newbies to a system. He helped me build characters that worked in the system the way I imagined, and has a great balance of allowing for creativity in what I do in a session, while also offering suggestions and nudges that have helped me flourish in these games even when I didn't necessarily know all the mechanics super well. His stories and worlds are super compelling, and he really works to blend PCs into the narrative in a natural way that is engaging and feels authentic
