Adam is a great DM: knowledgeable; flexible when needed, but decisive to push thing along; gracious to hear new ideas at the table, wise enough to reject the terrible ideas. But that just makes a great DM, I hope most DMs aspire to that bar. What makes Adam noteworthy is that, in my experience, he cares. In our campaign, he built a spreadsheet for us to know what monster parts make what magic items. Session 0 backstory plot points became main thrusts of the campaign. And, perhaps hardest to measure, I just feel this connection, where we are helping each other be better at this game. And building a story together, one that is both satisfying and collaborative, selfless and engaging. And it is really hard to bring all those elements to the table, and not care. So yeah, highly recommended! If you get a chance to be at his table, I would take it.
