Joe is an awesome DM. I’ve been playing with them for about 18 months now & I couldn’t dream of having a different DM. He is my 1st DM, my brother recommended them to me after finding out I wanted to play D&D & he does well with helping me out & explaining things when I get confused. They are a great DM for new & experienced players. He is funny, full of whimsy & is encouraging of some out of the box wacky ideas that we come up with. They are good at letting the rules just slightly bend when it needs to but for the most part we stick with the written 2024 rules; which helps me learn. Also, when I’m talking to the npcs, I totally forget that I’m just a person in their bedroom talking to someone else a state away & I’m totally immersed in the game play & I feel giddy talking to Peggy the swamp hag (my favorite npc). I should point out as well, I am a afab (she/they) & I tend not to choose a man in most cases but Joe makes me feel safe. Overall, Joe is an awesome person and DM.
