I don’t just meet NPCs in his games—I slowly get to know them, and then accidentally get emotionally attached. Alex also gives an insane amount of individual attention to his players. He asks hard, thoughtful questions about our characters that genuinely help you understand who you’re playing and why. Character creation with him isn’t just filling out a sheet—it’s a deep dive into psychology, motivation, and internal conflict… and somehow he does this for free, with patience and enthusiasm. On top of all that, he helps his players to become better role players. Not in a gatekeepy or preachy way—just pure passion, generosity, and a genuine desire to help players grow. I honestly can’t think of a DM who is more detailed, more thoughtful, or more invested in both storytelling and players. If you want a campaign where the world feels alive, your character feels understood, and roleplay actually means something—Alex is it. Forever the perfect DM.
