Had a great time in a Daggerheart One Shot Primal ran. I'm quite experienced at this point with Foundry but his discord server is so streamlined to help anyone who needs it with anything foundry related. He's chill, runs with player ideas (mysterious pants shrouded in fog protecting a village....) and helped a lot of the newer players in our session get up to speed. If you've got a spare evening and want a great adventure, or are curious/nervous to pickup Daggerheart and/or Foundry, Primal is a great GM to hit up!
Mark is crazy in all the right ways! His stories are very intricate and detailed, sessions are fast moving and your characters are always deeply tied into the world. You'll get a bunch of cool stuff thrown at you and your characters will grow and be challenged. If you're looking for an awesome time in a Cyberpunk game you won't regret it!
Jake is an absolutely fantastic GM and storyteller. He really works with you to build characters who are steeped in the world, while still feeling like there is a larger world around you (in the sense that things only begin to happen or exist when your part comes across them. I made the decision to retire my PC for reasons that had nothing to do with the sessions or the way they were being run (just personal feelings that I could have more fun with a different concept) and Jake welcomed it with open arms despite the impact it might have had on any plans he had made. My old character had a nice exit from the part and my new one had a seemless introduction. His voices are varied and each character feels alive and unique. The session 0 we ran was thorough, effective and ensured the campaign we have been playing was made exactly to how we as a group wanted it. While I have no doubt that he could run any system amazingly, Daggerheart is the absolute perfect system for his style of GM'ing which is truly collaborative and cinematic. If you and your group have a cool idea, Jake will absolutely find a cool way to make it work while still balancing consequences (not just saying yeah that's cool it goes perfectly and nothing bad happens whatsoever.) I could go on and on about how fantastic he is, but the last thing I'll say in the interest of brevity is that Jake is a great person. I know many people will think that it's not important or it won't be a consideration that they make, but I wanted to highlight it because I think it's important Jake and GM's like him are recognised and celebrate for making TTRPG spaces a welcoming and friendly place that we all can, and want to, be a part of. If you are fortunate enough to get a seat at one of his tables take him up on the offer, I promise you won't regret it!
Since meeting Engimaze last year in a VtM one shot, I’ve come to know him as one of the best GM’s on the site. He’s kind, great for new players and runs a variety of systems. I’ve personally played VtM, WtA, Daggerheart and Call of Cthulu with him both in one shots and campaigns/chronicles. Each has been an incredible experience. His ability to world build, incorporate your personal backstory into the larger narrative is second to none. A master of building atmosphere and using the tools at his disposal, Engimaze’s narratives are engaging, exciting and challenge you in all the best ways. He runs games that truly incorporate you and ensure you’re an active participant both in the story and larger world you’re building together. I can’t recommend him enough, and would encourage everyone to give him a chance. Even if you’re on the fence about a system I have no doubt his games will make you fall in love with it. Whenever he has an open seat as his table, jump in and enjoy!
Dave has been my first DM in a longer campaign, and I'm really happy with the experience he's created! The setting is awesome and the banter among the group is top tier. Would recommend him to anyone and especially the current campaign we are running, would be hard pressed to find a campaign that's more fun that this one at the moment
