Builder runs fun games! Before playing in his Ember campaign through StartPlaying (which has been awesome so far!), I played in his games for Impossible Landscapes (Delta Green), Cloud Empress (Mothership), and Dolmenwood (OSE). It's always a good time! He supports player creativity and roleplay, and cares about everyone at the table having fun and feeling included.

I've been playing in Astro's games for over a year (Daggerheart, Mothership, and 5e; campaigns and oneshots) and my dudes, it has been so hecking fun. His games are creative and hilarious, with a great mix of memorable stories and exciting combat. His table is a great place to learn and try out ideas; he will "yes, and" you whenever possible, and if he needs to stay no, he'll work with you to find a cool alternative. Some of the things I've been: - a guy (with a pomeranian in a baby bjorn) trying to escape a space-station version of jurassic park - a bug-whispering chicken chef saving villagers from forest fires (while riding a little dragon) - a different chicken (on a diplomatic mission, riding a huge dragon) fending off airborne archers with road rage while thousands of feet in the air - a scientist whose head was grafted onto a large crustacean-like exoskeleton after some ill-advised shenanigans with a grenade and the biggest compost hole you've ever smelled - killer robot Mary Poppins - an old grasshopper who (while investigating a serious mining accident) accidentally became co-owner of a casino after lighting himself on fire and killing the witnesses - robot butler with robot Mary Poppins' still-living head fused to my torso after house-tour/rescue mission gone wrong TL;DR Astro fun GM, good games

GM Cory

I played in a one-shot Cory ran today, and it was a lot of fun! They are welcoming & organized, and their enthusiasm for the game and for player creativity made it really easy to lean into roleplaying my character.

Very chill and nice person, ran a really fun campaign. Me and the two other people in the beginner workshop had a great time and I feel more confident about playing games, especially on roll20, in the future. I would recommend Tom's D&D Workshop to anyone looking to give D&D a try.
