He is an engaging and engaged storyteller. He's busy, clearly, but, if you leave something with him, it absolutely will show up in some way, shape, or form down the line. He has built an environment that reads as safe to those with marginalized identities and has guided our party into a cohesive whole who are learning how to work together gradually. If you want good D&D, join one of his campaigns. Also, his Traveler is on point.
From my perspective, the following things happened in Renwick's campaign: when I joined, he called into question the combination of my Cleric Domain and the god I chose. When more people joined the campaign, he called me out in group chat for adding named NPCs to my background. Shortly after I joined, it took three months for my token to be changed after providing him the art. From my perspective, I gave him backstory and he included absolutely none of it. He made an NPC for me but refused to engage with or include my family NPCs. Whenever I would cast Sending in sessions, he would say that he would reply later in DMs. He never did. He was continually hostile and unengaged when it came to my presence. At the end of my time in his campaign, I essentially asked him for three things: to cut down on the misogyny, to give my autistic self a moment to think sometimes, and to change the token art he had had for a month. He said my needs were too unique and kicked me from the campaign.
