I described the game and DM style to a long-time DnD player I know through another hobby channel. I thought would be interested in joining as a sixth player after early session. This was a well accomplished introduction to five characters in the City of Greyhawk. We got to know each other in town as individuals where several were new to town, couple already there. We met and formed a party. Also had a fine meal with an exquisite menu. There are unique and fun individuals. Players and characters. There are veteran players, new to the channel, and new-to-DnD player. There was role play in voices and character. Encouraged but not required. Game immersion was kept. I felt and visualized being there. Not a big focus on shopping. Felt nice to earn coin singing (Bard) and also to spend locally for the meal with the party. The rain feature (we got weather!), foreshadowing, road travel, and all were well met. Balance of Game, Narrative, and Simulation in the world. Beautiful menu meal. Dining, good food, and new friends (both players and characters). Building a strong party dynamic. The previous session zero helped to let me know the specifics and mods that are part of the story/world. I've had a wonderful time at the first three sessions. (ed)
